Installation and Removal Instructions
Dell Inspiron 14z (N411z) USB Audio Circuit Board
Step 1
- Slide the latches over.
- Remove the battery.

Step 2
- Loosen the access door screw.
- Remove the access door.
|
Step 3
- Remove the optical drive screw.
- Slide the optical drive out of the laptop.
|
Step 4
- Remove the bottom palmrest screws.
Step 5
- Remove the bottom display hinge screws.
- Remove the bottom middle cover screws.

Step 6
- Press in the 4 keyboard latches and lift the keyboard up.
- Turn the keyboard over and unplug the keyboard cable.

Step 7
- Remove the top palmrest screws.
Step 8
- Unplug the palmrest cables.
- List and unsnap the palmrest from the laptop.

Step 9
- Remove the audio circuit board cable.
- Loosen the wireless antenna cables.
- Remove the WLAN card screw and WLAN card.

Step 10
- Unplug the display cable.
- Unplug the camera cable.
- Loosen the cables from the base.

Step 11
- Remove the hinge screws.
- Remove the display assembly.

- Remove the middle cover.

- Remove the screw.
- Remove the circuit board
